2021 Referee Clinic

2021 Referee Clinic

Headwaters Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) is ready for another Fall Recreation Soccer Season and we need your help!

Who:  Anyone ages 13 years and older can become a youth soccer referee.  Adult family and community members are especially encouraged to be a part of our program.  Please help spread the word!

What: Officiate games for youth recreational soccer for age groups U10, U12, U14.

When:  2021 HYSA games are scheduled for Saturdays August 14, 21, 28, September 11, 18, 25 and Sunday September 26.  Game times vary, arrival time is as early as 8:30 AM and the last games end early in the afternoon.

Why:   What's in it for you?  HYSA youth game referee fees are $35/game center referee and $25/game assistant referee.  The more games you are available to officiate the more you earn.   Also,  by successfully completing the course, you will receive FULL reimbursement of your registration fee from Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) PLUS a 10 - piece referee uniform kit.

This is a 16 hour course - All course work is done online from wherever you have internet access.  All pre-work needs to be completed before scheduling a date for the Virtual session.

  • The first 8 hours will be in the US Soccer Learning Center completing their required assignments
  • 4 hours additional WisRef pre-course work (on your own)
  • 4 hours Virtual on-line Zoom Course (with Instructors) on one of the dates below
